I am getting error code 10060, 10061, 11001 or 11004, what do I do?
ANSWER
These errors are related to Rock Trader not being able to connect to the trading server.
Do the following in order to troubleshoot the problem:
- Check if you have connection to the internet.
- The optimal way to connect to Rock Trader is through port 1001, to check your connection settings in Rock Trader, please do the following:
- Open Rock Trader.
- Click Change Connection Settings.
- For the SIMULATION system, the Trade Server Address should be: simulation.xxx.com
- For the LIVE system, the Trader Server Address should be: livetrade.xxx.com
- Port number should be 1001. Communicate using HTTP and Proxy settings should NOT be ticked.
- You can test connectivity through port 1001 by clicking Trading System port test page. If everything is ok, you should get "You have reached the trading system port test page using TCP port 1001".
- If you are not able to reach our Trading System port test page, and you have internet connection, the problem could be related to security software. In this case please refer to the following link: Firewall and antivirus configurations.
